The Amazing Clear Cast PLUS epoxy resin by Alumilite contains their best UV protection ever! This thick mixing resin is perfect for coating bar tops, floors, taxidermy scenery, lenses, tumblers, artwork, and more. The Amazing Clear Cast PLUS resin is a two-part epoxy resin, that mixes 1:1 by volume or weight. Color it with Alumilite dyes, alcohol inks, or other non-water base colorants.
How can it get better? This resin is FDA compliant after a 7-day cure! The Alumilite Amazing Clear cast PLUS resin complies with FDA CFR 175.300
which specifies the proper treatment for articles intended for use in producing, manufacturing, packing, processing, preparing, treating, packaging, transporting, or holding food. The resin must be mixed 1:1 by volume (not weight) in a smooth-sided cup to ensure complete blending. Pieces are suitable for cold or warm food contact only. Cured pieces are not dishwasher, microwave oven, or conventional oven safe.
This kit comes with 16 ounces each of Part A and Part B. Also includes three 1 ounce mixing cups and two wooden stir utensils.
How do you use this food contact safe resin?
Step 1: Measure equal parts of A and B.
Step 2: Mix thoroughly.
Step 3: Apply to your surface, bezel or tumbler and allow to cure for 24 hours.
